What Size Dance Floor Do I Need?
Dance floor sizing depends on how many guests you expect—and how many you think will be on the floor at once. Here’s a guide to help you choose:

Note: Northern Birch and Cherry panels are priced the same. Black panels are a higher tier, with White being our premium option.
Can a Dance Floor Be Set Up on Grass?
Absolutely. Many of our events take place in open fields, backyards, or venues with outdoor spaces. Our crew ensures everything is leveled, secure, and dance-ready, no matter the surface.
For several years, we have worked with Shakespear and Company on their tented Annual Gala. Pictured below is an excellent example of how our black and white dance floor set the stage for an evening of fun. This shows our flooring directly on grass.
If your site has a slight slope or soft ground (common in rural areas like the Hudson Valley or Vermont), we can install a subfloor beneath the dance floor to keep things stable and safe.

Planning Ahead
If you’re hosting a wedding or large event between May and October, we recommend booking early. Summer and fall are especially popular in the Northeast, and dance floors are one of the first things to go.
